Ogino Yoshifumi is a one man maker from Japan. His hand carved stoneware gives us the feelings of discovering ancient relics in modern times. 

I asked Ogino to explain his inspiration and technique, here’s what he had to say.

“What is important is whether or not the heart moves. One of the concepts is the manifestation of Japanese animism that has been continued since ancient times. I am making things that will impress future generations. It brings me happiness to know that people love & connect to my ceramics daily and into the future”
