Brazil produces many endemic species and rare plants. From the east to the south, multiple mountain ranges formed the Brazilian Highlands, creating a special environment such as the semi-arid zehad (Cerrado). There are many endemic species that grow naturally, and it is an area that attracts attention from plant researchers and enthusiasts. I traveled to such a longing place in search of plants with Mr. Fumio Fujikawa, a horticulturist and plant researcher. Including the plants of the family Bromeliad that he loves, weird plants will continue to dazzle!
