Incausa is a unique social entrepreneurship venture founded by Vinicius Vieira de Vieira and Carolina Vieira, natives of Brazil. Established in 2012, Incausa operates both as a for-profit through the sales of its branded luxury goods—such as fine soaps, skin oils, and handcrafted wares—and as a not-for-profit, channeling the proceeds from wholesale sales of indigenous-made items back to the artisans. This innovative business model aims to support indigenous communities by connecting their products with the international market without charging the producers, thus promoting economic autonomy among indigenous artisans.

Beginning by creating a product line for ritual and meditation practice that touches on the ancient traditions, that are pure in essence, materials and simplicity, Incausa is a study to find meaningfulness in profit; for mindful growth: personal, community and society.
The company collaborates with artisans, villages and associations of eight different native ethnicities in the Amazon Basin. Acting as a non-profit patron, subsidizing logistics and production, developing sustainable retail and wholesale market-placements. Through this pro-bono initiative, the wholesale price of each piece is strictly the cost of the piece + shipping. "Our study is to help support indigenous heritage and sovereignty. Building a sustainable opportunity pathway to the artisans and also the final retailers."
Indigenous art represents to the native people of the Amazon basin an opportunity to preserve an integral livelihood and an alternative to industries that threaten to undermine these communities. In addition, the work of these artisans represents a connection to their ancestry that spans millenniums, with the power to create dialogue between different cultures and break a cycle of prejudice and discrimination.
A staple in our shop, Incausa's incense are made from Breu, a resin extracted from the Almacega tree of the Amazon rainforest used in healing rituals to ward off dark spirits and invite good energy. Also know for being used in Ayahuasca brewing ceremonies.
