This card features 8 of the most commonly used species of medicinally significant mushrooms, all individually hand illustrated by me in colored pencil which I then arranged into this educational botanical art poster.

These fungus species have been used for many centuries in traditional medicine around the world for a vast host of ailments. Recent scientific studies are finally proving without a doubt their true capacity for various medicinal properties and treatment potential.
Species included are: Turkey Tail (Trametes versicolor), Oysters (Pleurotus ostreatus), Lion's Mane (Hericium erinaceus), Reishi (Ganoderma lucidum), Chaga (Inonotus obliquus), Maitake/Hen of the Woods (Grifola frondosa), Cordyceps (Cordyceps militaris), and Shiitake (Lentinula edodes)
Are you a fan of Paul Stamets? Most of these species were selected for the poster based on my readings of his thorough research on the potential of many long overlooked mushroom and fungi species. This art print is great for scientists, biologists, mycologists, foragers, botanists, hippies, mushroom aficionados and nature lovers.
